We’ve added many new features in the past six months. They include:
- Film and TV shoot permits map & notifications
There are several TV shows being filmed right now across the city. - Reports of vacant or abandoned properties or buildings (left map)
People call in reports that a building is vacant but being used, or is dangerous. We’ve mapped them. - Buildings in violations court map
After the city issues a building violation, sometimes the owners have to go to “administrative hearings”. They’re on our map, too.

- Leads Generator
Find a contractor (who’s name you don’t know) based on their trade and what neighborhood they do work in. This is mainly for businesses looking to find new sales opportunities. - Investment Zones map (right image)
These are parts of the city that are eligible to receive funds from the city’s Neighborhood Opportunity Fund, which is funded by payments from developers. - Neighborhood Opportunity Fund status check
When you search for an address, its Address Snapshot will tell you whether it’s in an Investment Zone - TOD status check
This feature was existing, but upgraded. When you search for an address, its Address Snapshot will give you more details on why or why not its eligible for bonuses for being near a train station. - Improved contractor & architect rankings
See which contractors and architects are getting the most jobs permitted, and the most valuable jobs. - Neighborhood organizations map
We now have over 38 maps of local neighborhood-based organizations, like Bucktown Community Organization, Avondale Neighborhood Association, and Kenwood Oakland Community Organization. Contact us to submit your organization.
