Chicago Cityscape is offering free memberships — sponsored by a grant from the Searle Funds at the Chicago Community Trust — to help drive equitable investment and desired development in every Chicago community.

This opportunity is intended for emerging & minority real estate professionals and community & economic development organizations. This year’s program is different from the Data Equity Cohort, which wrapped earlier this year, because it will not involve any formal feedback* sessions that were a requirement of participation (for which members also received a stipend).
Chicago Cityscape is a community and real estate information platform that helps local leaders uncover and articulate community assets like developable land, public investments, business activity, real estate developments, and much more. Incorporation over 140 sources, Chicago Cityscape provides access to the zoning and allowed uses of every property (Chicago only), available incentives (across Illinois), and historic data about 1.8 million properties in Cook County.
Our staff will train newcomers to the platform.
Full details are shared in this application form. Please consider applying or helping spread the word.
Email Casey Smagala at casey@chicagocityscape.com with any questions.
The priority deadline for this opportunity is July 22.
*We always want your feedback, though. Send questions and ideas through this form or email info@chicagocityscape.com.
Add Cityscape to your development toolbox — apply for a free membership was originally published in Chicago Cityscape’s Blog on Medium, where people are continuing the conversation by highlighting and responding to this story.
