Property sales in 2022 Q2 are less than 2021 Q2

Chicago Cityscape has uploaded the latest quarter of property sales in Cook County. In the second quarter of 2022, there were 38,560 property sales, a small increase over the 36,253 property sales in 2022 Q1.

Compared to 2021, these two quarters are behind. In the second quarter of 2021, there were 42,004 property sales, compared to the 38,560 sales in the second quarter of 2022.

How to review property sales in Chicago and Cook County

Chicago Cityscape has three ways to find and analyze property sales of all types (residential, commercial, industrial, etc.) in Cook County:

1. At or near an address. Look up any Address Snapshot in Cook County, then click on “Property Sales” in the table of contents. The most recent and nearest property sales will appear.
2. Within an area or place. Look up one of our Place Snapshots, or draw your own. Then click on “Property Sales” in the table of contents. The most recent property sales will appear first.
3. Entirety of Cook County. Browse and filter property sales across Cook County by date, transaction amount, property class, and municipality. This is also where the 612 unmappable property sales are searchable.
