There’s a meeting next week to discuss a requested zoning change in Lincoln Park. The owner of the buildings at the southeast corner of Diversey Parkway and Clark Street wants a zoning change in order to maintain the right to have a billboard on the roof and jutting exterior signs.

The owner, Acadia Realty Trust, plans to demolish the collection of one and two-story buildings and build a single two-story building, increasing the commercial space from 19,000 to 30,000 square feet.

The meeting takes place in the space itself, at 2747 N Clark St. on Monday, November 28, at 6 PM. The meeting is co-hosted by the Park West Community Association (PWCA) and 43rd Ward Alder Michele Smith.
